Nendoroid Aisaka Taiga: Sailorfuku Ver. Review

Today we’re going to review…

Nendoroid#185b: Aisaka Taiga: Sailor Fuku Version!

This version of Taiga is based from the last episode of Toradora. Also manufactured by ASCII Media Works like Nendoroid#185a: Aisaka Taiga(Dengeki Exclusive) and also it also has an exclusive run. I already made an intro to who Taiga is at my Nendoroid#185a: Aisaka Taiga review. You might want to check that out! (´△`)

What’s inside the box? (4/10)

  • Taiga as seen on the last episode of Toradora.
  • Nendoroid stand (Leg clamp type)

That was it… (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Details(10/10)
The figure is very detailed! Very nice indeed! Actually, I didn’t notice that her uniform has a logo on it when I was watching the anime. Good job on making me realize that. She’s really cute with that look on her face! Makes you feel like giving her a warm hug! (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

Articulation(5/10)
Hands and arms can’t be moved leg movements are restricted by the base. She also falls over because the base can’t support her weight too well(like the other Taiga nendo).

When you place the nendo properly on the base the legs don’t touch the ground which is bad… very bad… (;¬_¬)

The base has some sharp edges that can ruin the figure. Be extra careful so that yours don’t end up like mine. (´△`)

Price(5/10)
Her original retail price is 2,800 JPY(1,212.15 PHP/ 36.87 SGD/ 29.7 USD). But I got her for 2,750 PHP(6,355.99 JPY/ 83.68SGD/ 67.58 USD). You’re quite lucky if you got your Taiga for the original price, which I think only possible if you live in Japan.

Conclusion(6/10)
The figure is quite nice. I actually liked it even though it didn’t have any extra parts. But I still think I would have been better if it had some extra parts. I only recommend this to people who are deeply in love with Taiga, people who like collecting exclusives and people who can afford it and won’t be depressed afterwards(filthy rich people).

Pros

  • Extremely cute! Almost impossible not to resist!
  • Good for display? No need to think of a pose! ヽ(´Д`ヽ

Cons

  • Very expensive if you live outside of Japan.
  • No accessories.
  • Limited poseablity.

Waifu compatibility: EXCELLENT!

And thus concludes another nendo review!
Thanks for reading and see you on my next post! ☆ミ(o*・ω・)ノ
